My work out clothes see much more than the gym. The are
gallivanted around the grocery store,
the farmer’s market, my favorite brunch spots and everywhere else I may go on a
Sunday. The days of long mesh shorts and over sized T Shirts are over. Thank god.
We all know and love Lulu Lemon. The pants magically suck
everything in and the tops make you feel like a fitness goddess! Don’t get me
started on the skirts! I started playing tennis just to justify buying this white skirt. I actually was wearing it when Seth proposed on our morning beach run. Sweaty and makeup-free, my Lulu skirt and Lilly Pulitzer top saved the photos!
But weekly trips to Lulu can get expensive. Time to think
outside the box…
Fabuletics by Kate Hudson has some really great options. Better
yet, everything is under $50! This Miri Tank is fun and sexy! And I love the
mesh panels on the Gaviota Capri ($31.95).
In the last couple years, Old Navy really has stepped up
their game in the work out department. Everything is under $40! This Old Navy Compression Zip Up is something you could wear
everyday. Spice up the look with these Old Navy Active Printed CompressionPants!
They come in 7 different colors/prints. So basically you could buy 4 for the price of one Lulu piece...Oh wait, that defeats the purpose of being thrifty.
Target’s C9 Gear is nothing new, but definitely worth
mentioning. I don’t think I’ve ever worn a non-Target sports bra...ever. Prints,
zippers and most importantly: support.
If you click on this link, you can shop based on how much support you actually need based on the activity you do. Say good bye to doubling up for a run.
I also run into the Go-In-For-One, Come-Out-With-Six problem at Target. They make it impossible to spend under $100. I'll save that rant for a later post...
