Fall is my favorite time of year for fashion. All of your pretty layers, scarves, boots, and blazers are not yet covered up by a puffy parka and snow boots. They are the spotlight of the streets!
This year, my favorite trend is the cape coat. It is regal, trendy and cozy! Here are some of my favorites, including one I bought from Forever 21 a few years back! It has been sitting in my closet collecting dust until recently!
This Textured Cape Coat from H&M looks like it could be from Burberry. It is also discretely metallic which is a fun way to lighten things up in winter! Not sure I would pair it with the matching skirt, but love it paired with a solid pair of pants of skirt.
I always see ads for this Jolly Chic website pop up on Facebook, and I am always tempted to buy something. It is unbelievably inexpensive, and the clothes all look so cute! I absolutely love this grey cape coat and it is only $49! The good thing about a solid coat is that you can wear just about anything under it. Since these capes are really a key part of your outfit, it might be good to have a solid option in your closet.
This Ralph Lauren Suede Trim Cape Coat is classic. Something tells me it is also a bit warmer than teh $49 one from Jolly Chic. This beige is such a neutral color that you could wear just about anything under it.
