When the cat is away...

Seth is out of town for a conference tonight.  As much as I hate being home alone when it comes time to turn the lights off and go to bed (I am a huge scardy cat), I go into full on girl mode when he leaves. And that means the following is currently happening...

- Wearing baggy fleece from head to toe
- Testing out my new bright green face mask
- Eating popcorn for dinner
- Basking in the glory of a clean kitchen
- Inhaling the scent of my new candle
- Daydreaming about my future kitchen on Pinterest
- Texting Seth about our future kitchen and getting shut down
- Letting the dog snuggle on the couch with me
- Catching up on reality shows that he despises
- Going to bed by 9:30

Life is definitely better when he is here, but I have to admit that I do love having some me time every so often. I know I will be biting my tongue in a couple hours when I am convinced there is a bad guy hiding in the closet.
