Over the weekend, my cousin-in-law and I hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law. We made a great co-hosting team on account of our shared obsession with crafting/planning/general-cuteness. I think we actually had a little too much fun planning, but the mom-to-be loved it, so it was worth it!
Fully Stocked Bar! Love my chalk board labels!
Grapefruit and Orange Mimosas!
Every Southern party needs a little peach iced tea! These little chocolate coins said "It's a boy!"
Loved the clothing line decoration...and my mother-in-law's backyard in flawless!
We had a onesie making station, that I will explain in the next post blog. It was a hit!
Everyone loved the fact that we had a craft instead of a game!
We served small bites. Obviously the cookies and pettifors were my favorite!
These were almost too cute to eat. In the end, it didn't stop my from having 4!
We
had a major Pinterest SUCCESS with the chicken and waffles...a classic
Southern tradition. No, we did not make them from scratch. This killer
dish consisted of Chick-Fil-A nuggets, frozen Eggo waffles and syrup!
And guess what, they were a hit!
We stuck them together on these skewers, and had the syrup on the side.
These sausage cups get a point for easy and two points for deliciousness. It is just one cup of sausage, 2 cups of shredded cheese, 1 cup of ranch dressing. Cook the sausage, mix it all together and put the mix into the fillo dough cups in the frozen aisle. Warm in over for 10 minutes before serving.
Veggie cups with ranch! Easy to serve when there is not a seat for everyone!
Food, family, friends and so much fun! Anyone else need me to plan a shower?! I am ready for round two!
