As I mentioned in my earlier post, I think I had too much fun planning this shower. We decided to have a onesie station instead of playing a game. I was super intimidated about this particular crafting aspect, but it ended up being way easier than expected. And way cuter too! I squealed every time someone finished a onesie.
Here are the directions...
I went to Hobby Lobby (AKA my happy place) and bought the fabric of my choice and "Wonder Under". You don't need much fabric since the patches will need to be small. I had them cut it into strips 1/8 of a yard X 1 yard.
The next step was the stencils. I google imaged everything from fall leaves to elephants. I put them all onto power point slides and printed the whole deck on card stock paper. Next was the cutting...not so fun.
Then I cut the wonder Under in striped and ironed it the the fabric strips
Next was tracing the stencils onto the back of the Wonder Under
Then more cutting!
The patches all turned out so cute!
We had a clothing line we decorated with ribbon handing in the yard. We provided clothing pins to hand the onesies, diaper cloths and bibs.
We wrote the instructions out on these little chalk boards, and had the bowl of patches ready to go! Guests just had to peel off the sticker on the Wonder Under and iron onto the cloth!
